Cheap chili dogs, and for a good cause too. Pink's Hot Dogs wants to thank LA for 70 great years by selling "Chili Dogs for Charity". In pink Binmen look pretty

WESTMINSTER residents may have done a double take when they saw these binmen doing the rounds.
Caps of Pink were donned by waste contractors across the borough, to raise cognizance of the Breast Cancer Campaign's Wear it Pink week.
These binmen from Mayfair's Farm Street depot, together with other Veolia waste management contractors, bought more than 450 particularlly made hats between them, raising nearly £1,400.
The money raised will go to support 130 research projects in 43 centres of excellence across the UK and Ireland.
Scott Edgell, Veolia's contract manager in Westminster, said: "Breast cancer is sadly all too common and we all know somebody who has been affected by it in some way."And we all have mothers, grandmothers, sisters and daughters who we would want to be able to get the very best available treatment should the unthinkable ever occur.
"We support Wear it Pink every year as it is a fun and easy way to donate and I would like to thank all the employees who took part in this important fundraising initiative by buying our pink headgear."

'Chinese Facebook' Pink Floyd worm spreads

Malware authors have developed a cross site scripting worm that's spreading across a Chinese social networking website. The Pinkren-A worm affectation as a video clip of Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here contained in messages sent to users of Renren, the Chinese social networking website with around 40 million members. Selecting these messages reports in the achievement of malicious JavaScript, further scattereding the infection."The technique used in this worm deed a simple XSS hole in the website with a loading which has a flash component with the AllowScriptAccess=”always” attribute to allow the above “non-malicious” javascript to spread the worm via renren.com’s API," explains Sophos investigator Boris Lau in a blog posting. Preliminary analysis suggests Pinkren A simply spreads across the Facebook like site without doing anything more malicious. The techniques working by the worm are similar to those of the Mikeyy worms that spread quickly across microblogging site Twitter bygone this year and an Orkut worm in 2008. Orkut isn't famous in the US or Europe, but the Google owned social networking site is long in Brazil and up and coming in India. ®

Pink Biography

P!nk has never been frightened to converse her mentality, naked her soul, and share her genuine approach in her songs. As she casually bestows, “I have no choice. It’s what I do.” Indeed, it is what P!nk does. And, her 23 million in album sales, two Grammy Awards, five MTV Video Music Awards, and eight top 10 hit singles are proof that the tattooed badass with the heart of a pussycat does what she does well. Very well. But, with her fifth studio album, Funhouse (Oct. 28 via LaFace/Zomba), P!nk gets even more private, more uncovered, and more enlightening.

P!nk launched her first single 'There You Go' and first record, the R&B-oriented Can't Take Me Home, in 2000 via LaFace Records. Her pop rock-based second studio album, M!ssundaztood, was launched in 2001 and is her largest seller to date, featuring the chart-topping hits 'Get The Party Started' and 'Just Like a Pill'. P!nk then followed up her 2001 album with 'Try This', in 2003. After a bit of a break from music, she came back in 2006 with her fourth album 'I'm Not Dead' which produced 7 hit singles including 'Stupid Girls', 'Who Knew' and 'U & Ur Hand'. Her fifth album, 2008's Funhouse, was released in October 2008, and has been headed by her first solo number one ever on the Billboard Hot 100, "So What".
